The Challenge
A consortium of large religious establishments including a 3,000-capacity mosque, 1,500-capacity synagogue, and 2,000-capacity gurdwara needed to develop SSPs addressing Enhanced Tier requirements. Each venue faced elevated threat levels due to their religious significance, with additional challenges around major religious festivals, funeral gatherings, and the need to maintain welcoming environments for worship and community activities.
Our Solution
Created tailored SSPs for each establishment while facilitating knowledge-sharing across the consortium. This included faith-specific considerations for prayer times, religious festivals, and funeral protocols, enhanced perimeter security respecting architectural and religious sensitivities, volunteer and staff training appropriate to each faith community, coordination with Metropolitan Police faith liaison officers, community engagement programmes building security awareness without creating fear, and shared intelligence protocols across the consortium for threat awareness.
Results Achieved
"Our communities have faced real threats, and Maxi Global Security approached this work with the sensitivity and understanding it required. They helped us protect our congregations while preserving the welcoming spirit essential to our faith traditions. The interfaith collaboration they facilitated has strengthened bonds across our communities."
